Kay Adams Predicts Four Quarterbacks to Go in Top Four Picks of 2024 NFL Draft

In a bold prediction, NFL host Kay Adams has forecasted that the 2024 NFL Draft will see four quarterbacks taken with the first four overall picks. The sportscaster shared her insights on the upcoming event during Thursday’s Up & Adams show, expressing her fascination with the Washington Commanders’ unique “Bachelor-style” pre-draft scouting strategy.

The 2024 draft class is stacked with talented young quarterbacks, including top prospects Caleb Williams, Jayden McDaniels, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, and Michael Penix Jr. Adams believes that the Chicago Bears, who hold the No. 1 overall pick, will likely select Williams, the former University of Southern California standout and 2022 Heisman Trophy winner.

Following the Bears, the Washington Commanders are expected to draft a quarterback with the second overall pick. The New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals, who hold the third and fourth picks respectively, are also in the market for a franchise quarterback.

Adams highlighted the potential for big trades leading up to the draft, with teams like the Patriots and Cardinals open to moving their picks for the right deal. She also mentioned that other teams, such as the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants, could be looking to trade up to secure their future signal-caller.

With the abundance of quarterback talent available, Adams believes that the 2024 draft could make history with four quarterbacks selected in the top four picks for the first time ever. The excitement and anticipation for this year’s draft are palpable, as teams look to secure their future stars and make strategic moves to improve their rosters. Stay tuned for more updates as the draft approaches in Detroit, Michigan, from April 25-27.
