Te Puke’s Jorja Mouat is set to make her mark on the international stage as she represents New Zealand at the upcoming IFAF World Flag Football Championships in Finland. Having transitioned from track and field to rugby before her injury in 2020, Mouat found her calling in flag football, a non-contact form of American football that emphasizes passing and catching skills. Joining the Tauranga City Tridents American Football Club, Mouat’s talent and dedication caught the eye of selectors, earning her a spot on the national team.
