Nebraska Football Spring Practice Highlights: Glimpses from the Seventh Practice of the Spring Season

The Nebraska football team is gearing up for an exciting season as they hit the halfway mark of their spring camp. With the seventh practice in the books, the team showcased their skills and progress in front of the media.

During the 11-on-11 scrimmage, junior quarterback Heinrich Haarberg led the first offensive unit down the field, showcasing his leadership and skills. Freshman Daniel Kaelin also impressed with a long pass to wide receiver Jacory Barney Jr. and a touchdown throw to transfer receiver Isaiah Neyor.

On the defensive side, Riley Van Poppel and Vincent Carroll-Jackson stood out with their pressure on the quarterbacks, showcasing the team’s depth and talent on both sides of the ball.

After the scrimmage, the team broke into positional drills, with the linebackers showing off their skills in a 2-on-1 blocking drill. Wide receivers and offensive linemen also worked on their techniques under the guidance of their coaches.

Head coach Matt Rhule was present at practice, engaging with the players and greeting recruits Sawyer Schilke and John Mills, who were in attendance. The team also had the support of former Husker center Cam Jurgens, who was there to cheer on the team.
