Isaiah Elohim Flips Commitment to USC, Joins Trojans’ Roster for 2024-25 Season

In a surprising turn of events, highly touted high school prospect Isaiah Elohim has decided to flip his commitment from Arkansas to USC. The 6-foot-5 guard, who is considered one of the top prospects in California in the class of 2024, brings a unique skill set to the Trojans that could have a major impact on the program’s future.

Elohim, who hails from Sierra Canyon High School, is known for his polished midrange game and ability to finish around the rim. Despite battling injuries throughout his high school career, he still managed to put up impressive numbers, averaging 12.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game during his senior season.

The addition of Elohim is a significant one for USC head coach Eric Musselman, who is still in the early stages of rebuilding the Trojans’ roster after a coaching change. With only two players currently on the roster, Musselman has been active in the transfer portal, bringing in a mix of experienced players and promising prospects to fill out the team.

In addition to Elohim, USC has also added a number of intriguing transfers in recent weeks, including Josh Cohen, Clark Slajchert, Bryce Pope, Saint Thomas, Matt Knowling, and Rashaun Agee. These additions, along with the hiring of new assistant coaches, signal a new era for USC basketball as they look to establish themselves in the competitive Big Ten conference.

As Musselman continues to shape his roster and build a cohesive team, the future looks bright for the Trojans. With a mix of talent, experience, and athleticism, USC is poised to make a splash in the college basketball world in the coming seasons. Stay tuned for more updates as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
