NEW YORK: Epiphanny Prince, a WNBA veteran, has announced her retirement after a successful 14-season career in the league. The 36-year-old guard leaves behind a legacy of impressive stats and unforgettable moments on the court.

Throughout her career, Prince averaged 10.7 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.4 steals in 315 career games with various teams including Chicago, Las Vegas, Seattle, and New York. She made a name for herself early on when she scored a record-breaking 113 points in a high school basketball game before going on to play for Rutgers.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Prince expressed gratitude for her long and fulfilling career, filled with victories, challenges, and incredible experiences. She also highlighted her time playing overseas, including stints in Russia and representing the Russian national team in international competitions.

Prince’s talent and dedication to the game earned her two All-Star appearances during her time with the Chicago Sky, where she averaged a career-best 18.1 points in 2012. She also had successful stints with the New York Liberty and Seattle Storm, helping the latter secure the 2020 WNBA title.
