Former USC Signee Brody Kozlowski Commits to BYU Basketball Program
Former USC signee Brody Kozlowski has made a big decision to commit to the BYU basketball program, choosing the Cougars over several other top schools. The Deseret News 6A Utah player of the year had initially signed with USC but requested to be released from his letter of intent after head coach Andy Enfield left for SMU. Kozlowski, a four-star recruit ranked 91st in the ESPN100, received over 20 offers during his recruitment.
Kozlowski’s standout performance leading Corner Canyon to a deep tournament run, including a 39-point game where he accounted for 58% of the team’s scoring, caught the attention of many college programs. His smooth jump shot and 6’7 frame make him a promising addition to the BYU roster, especially with the team’s emphasis on three-point shooting.
With strong connections to BYU through his mother, a former BYU women’s basketball player, and his involvement in pregame and postgame shows for BYU basketball games on BYUtv, Kozlowski seems like a natural fit for the program. He is the third member of BYU’s 2024 signing class, joining fellow four-star recruit Isaac Davis and Texas guard Brooks Bahr.
BYU coach Kevin Young, who targeted Kozlowski as his first high school recruit, is excited about the potential that the talented player brings to the team. As the Cougars look to continue their success on the court, Kozlowski’s commitment adds another layer of excitement for fans and the program as a whole.
