Airdrie Elite Hockey Committee Announces Awards and Scholarships Winners
The Airdrie Elite Hockey Committee (AEHC) has recently announced the winners of this year’s awards and scholarships, recognizing the outstanding achievements of players in various age categories.
In the CFR Chemical Bisons U18 AAA division, several players stood out for their exceptional performances. Neil Glionna was awarded the Most Valuable Player, while Markus Lavallee received the prestigious Markus Lavallee Scholarship. Other notable winners included the Rookie of the Year, Top Defenseman, Top Forward, Top Scorer, Most Defensive Forward, and the Mark Norman Hardest Working Bison.
In the AC Avalanche U17 AAA category, Brandon Williams and Jaxson Hosegood shared the MVP award, showcasing their exceptional skills on the ice. The team also recognized players for their performance as Top Forward, Top Defenseman, Heart, Coaches Choice, and Most Improved.
The Airdrie/Bow Valley Havoc U16 AA division saw players being honored for their contributions to the team, with awards for MVP, Top Forward, Top Defenseman, Heart, Coaches Choice, and Most Improved.
The Airdrie Xtreme U15 AAA team celebrated their top performers, with awards for Top Scorer, Top Defenseman, Top Forward, Heart and Hustle, Harry Smart Memorial Award, Vic Wiebe MVP, and Most Improved.
Additionally, the Alberta Elite Hockey League recognized outstanding individuals in the U18 AAA and U15 AAA categories, with awards for Coach of the Year, Top Defenseman, All-Star Team selections, and scholarships.
The South Central Alberta Hockey League U16 AA division also honored their Most Valuable Player and League Top Scorer.
