Airdrie Elite Hockey Committee (AEHC) Awards and Scholarships Winners Announced
The Airdrie Elite Hockey Committee (AEHC) recently announced the winners of this year’s awards and scholarships, recognizing the outstanding achievements of players in various age categories.
In the CFR Chemical Bisons U18 AAA division, several players stood out for their exceptional performance throughout the season. Mark Norman was awarded the Hardest Working Bison, while Neil Glionna received the Most Valuable Player award. Markus Lavallee was honored with the prestigious Scholarship for his dedication and perseverance.
Moving on to the AC Avalanche U17 AAA team, Brandon Williams and Jaxson Hosegood shared the MVP title, showcasing their talent on the ice. The coaches also recognized players for their improvement, heart, and dedication to the sport.
The Airdrie/Bow Valley Havoc U16 AA division saw top players being awarded for their skills and commitment to the game. The MVP, top forward, and top defenseman were acknowledged, along with players who demonstrated heart and improvement throughout the season.
In the U15 AAA category, the Airdrie Xtreme players were recognized for their scoring abilities, defensive skills, and overall contribution to the team. The Harry Smart Memorial Award and Vic Wiebe MVP award were presented to deserving players who displayed exceptional talent and dedication.
The Alberta Elite Hockey League also honored individuals for their outstanding performance, with Chad Scharff receiving the U18 AAA League Coach of the Year award. Players were recognized for their defensive skills, scoring abilities, and overall contribution to their teams.
