In an action-packed day of high school baseball, teams across Southern California battled it out on the diamond, with some thrilling matchups and close scores.

One of the standout games of the day saw Aquinas narrowly edge out Gardens Serra with a 3-2 victory. Arcadia also secured a close win, defeating Mira Costa 5-4, while Artesia took down Orange with a score of 6-3.

In other games, Bell emerged victorious over LA Hamilton with a 5-2 win, and California triumphed over Don Lugo with a score of 5-3. Camarillo and Valencia went head-to-head in a high-scoring affair, with Camarillo coming out on top with an 8-7 win.

Carson put on a dominant performance, shutting out Granada Hills Kennedy with a 5-0 victory, while Chavez cruised to an 8-0 win over Vaughn. Chino Hills narrowly defeated Upland 2-1, and Crean Lutheran secured a close 4-3 win over Gahr.

The day’s action also saw some blowout victories, with Foothill Tech dominating Santa Clara with a 21-0 win, and Moorpark cruising to a 15-0 victory over Bishop Diego.
