Hart High School Baseball Team Celebrates Victory Over West Ranch, Moves Closer to League Title

In a thrilling Foothill League matchup, the Hart High School baseball team secured a crucial 5-3 victory over West Ranch on Friday afternoon, inching them closer to their 33rd league title. The hard-fought win showcased the resilience and determination of the Hart players, who now stand as the sole team in the league with the power to determine their own destiny.

With only two league games remaining against Canyon, Hart has a golden opportunity to clinch the league title outright by extending their impressive 22-game winning streak against the Coyotes. Despite facing two losses against Saugus, the Indians (19-5, 8-2 Foothill) remain undeterred and focused on their ultimate goal.

Pitcher Troy Cooper delivered a standout performance, pitching 5⅓ innings and giving up only two unearned runs. Senior Ian Edwards came in relief to secure the save, showcasing his composure under pressure.
