LSU Gymnastics Team Advances to NCAA Championship Final
The LSU Lady Tigers have secured their spot in the NCAA Championship Final after an impressive performance in the semifinals. Led by standout gymnast Haleigh Bryant, the team posted a score of 198.1125, marking the program’s second-highest score at the NCAA Championships.
Although Olivia Dunne did not compete in the semifinal, she was seen warming up with her teammates, showing her support for the team. Dunne, a social media sensation with millions of followers, took to Instagram to express her excitement, exclaiming “Final 4 bound” with a purple heart and ring emoji.
Head coach Jay Clark expressed his pride in the team’s performance, stating, “We’re obviously thrilled to be back in the finals again for the second year in a row. I’m proud of how this team has done all year long.”
The Lady Tigers will now face off against California, Utah, and Florida in the championship matchup. With their sights set on a national championship victory, the team is determined to make their mark in the final competition.
