Cavinder twins returning to Miami for final college basketball season

The dynamic duo of Haley and Hanna Cavinder are set to make a triumphant return to the University of Miami for one final season of college basketball. After taking a year off from the game, the twins have decided to reunite on the court for their fifth year of eligibility.

Haley had initially planned to transfer to TCU, but after Hanna announced her decision to play at Miami, Haley had a change of heart and decided to join her sister in Coral Gables. In a heartfelt social media post, Haley expressed her excitement about the opportunity to play alongside her twin once again.

The Cavinder twins last suited up for the Hurricanes during the 2022-23 season, where they helped lead the team to the Elite Eight of the NCAA women’s tournament. Haley showcased her scoring prowess, averaging 12.2 points per game, while Hanna made her presence felt on both ends of the court with 1.6 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Following their successful stint at Miami, the Cavinders explored opportunities in the world of NIL deals, partnering with major brands like Boost Mobile, Champs Sports, and WWE. Despite their foray into the wrestling world, the twins ultimately decided to return to their roots in college basketball.

Prior to their time at Miami, the Cavinder sisters made a name for themselves at Fresno State, where they put up impressive numbers on the court. With their combined talent and chemistry, the twins are sure to make a significant impact in their final season at Miami.

As the countdown to the new season begins, fans can look forward to witnessing the Cavinder twins back in action, bringing their unique blend of skill, passion, and sisterly bond to the court once again.
