SUPPORT: Tokyo Sports Press President Donates Sports Gear to Filipino National Athletes
Tokyo Sports Press president Koji Hiranabe has shown his support for Filipino athletes Frederick Ramirez and Harry Diones by donating much-needed sports gear to aid in their training and competitions. The gesture was made during his recent visit to Manila, where he presented the national track and field athletes with quality track shoes and other equipment.
In a heartwarming moment, Hiranabe expressed his admiration for the hard work and dedication that athletes put into their craft, stating, “As a former sportsman myself, we realize how hard athletes work and prepare for their competitions. Hopefully, these will help them to be better in their sport.”
The donation was made in the presence of coaches Jojo Posadas and Elma Muros-Posadas, with Posadas acknowledging the significance of the support for Ramirez and Diones. He expressed gratitude for the donation, recognizing the impact it will have on the athletes’ training and competition.
Ramirez, a member of the men’s 4×400-meter relay squad, has already achieved success on the international stage, setting a new national record and winning events at the Southeast Asian Games. With the support of Hiranabe and Tokyo Sports Press, Ramirez and Diones are poised to continue their success and make their mark in the world of track and field.
This act of generosity from Hiranabe serves as a beacon of hope for the future of Filipino athletes, showcasing the power of support and encouragement in helping them reach their full potential.
