2023-24 All-Stars for Boys Basketball: Outstanding Performances and Achievements
Franklin boys basketball team showcased their talent and skill in a thrilling matchup against Catholic Memorial, emerging victorious with a score of 66-52. This win marks Franklin’s third state final appearance since 2017, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in high school basketball.
The game was a display of exceptional teamwork and individual performances, with players like Bradley Herndon and Sean O’Leary leading the charge for Franklin. Herndon, a Hockomock All-Star, showcased his shooting prowess by hitting 42 percent of his 3-pointers and averaging 8.4 points per game. O’Leary, a Bates commit and two-time Hockomock MVP, led the team with 16.5 points per game and demonstrated his defensive skills by drawing 14 charges throughout the season.
Other standout players from the season include Caden Sullivan, who averaged 14 points per game and played a crucial role in Franklin’s journey to the Division 1 state championship game. Additionally, Andrew Rivera from Milford impressed with his all-around game, averaging 19.1 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists per game.
The team’s success can also be attributed to the leadership of their coaches and the unwavering support of the community.
