218 Sports Hosts Youth Hockey Tournaments in August for Players Aged 10-13
BEMIDJI – Calling all young hockey enthusiasts! 218 Sports is gearing up to host two exciting youth hockey tournaments in August, catering to players aged 10 to 13.
The first tournament, the 218 Sports Hockey Tournament, is set to take place from Aug. 16-18. With two competitive divisions, each consisting of eight teams, players will be grouped based on their birth year. One division will feature players born in 2013, while the other will showcase those born in 2014.
Following the initial tournament, 218 Sports will then host the 218 Sports Top Shelf Hockey Tournament from Aug. 23-25. Similar to the first event, this tournament will also have two divisions with eight teams each, organized by birth year. Players born in 2011 will compete in one division, while those born in 2012 will battle it out in the other.
Ryan Rude, the sports tourism coordinator at 218 Sports, expressed the organization’s commitment to fostering community engagement and promoting the positive impact of sports through these tournaments. “These two hockey tournaments embody our mission of bringing youth together through sports and activities,” Rude stated.
