The NCAA women’s gymnastics finals are just around the corner, set to take place from April 18 to 20 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Among the eight teams vying for the championship title, the LSU Tigers are gearing up for their shot at glory, led by star gymnast Olivia Dunne.
As the anticipation builds for the finals, former American gymnast and 2x Olympian Aly Raisman shared her thoughts on the Tigers’ chances. During the NCAA Regionals, Oklahoma dominated with a score of 198.400, while LSU topped the charts with a score of 198.250. Both teams advanced to the semi-finals, where LSU led the first session with a total score of 197.4750, while Oklahoma reigned in the second session with a score of 198.1625.
With a history of strong performances, including winning the SEC Championship and defeating North Carolina, the LSU Tigers are poised to make a strong push for their first NCAA title.
