Jimmy Anderson Shines in Joliet West Baseball Win

Jimmy Anderson had a day to remember on Saturday as he led the Joliet West Tigers to a dominant 13-2 win over Sandburg. The senior had an outstanding performance both at the plate and on the mound, showcasing his all-around skills in baseball.

Anderson went 4 for 5 with two doubles, a grand slam, and seven RBIs, powering the Tigers’ offense with his impressive hitting display. Not only did he excel with the bat, but he also went the distance on the mound, pitching a complete game with just 85 pitches. Anderson scattered seven hits, struck out six batters, and did not issue a single walk, demonstrating his control and effectiveness on the mound.
