Isobel Kehs of Silvia’s Gymnastics Shines at PA Gymnastics Championships
Silvia’s Gymnastics level 6 and 7 teams showcased their talent at the Pennsylvania State Gymnastics Championships last weekend, with standout performances from Isobel Kehs stealing the spotlight. Competing at the Nittany Lion Sports Centre in State College, hosted by Centre Elite Gymnastics, the athletes gave it their all and left it all on the mat.
In the Level 6 category, Charlotte Currie, Sarah Cortes, Camille Fedchak, and Elise Dolha all put on impressive performances, with Dolha standing out by securing second place on floor, vault, and all-around, as well as third place on bars.
However, it was Isobel Kehs in the Level 7 division who truly shined. Tying for first place on vault and placing third on floor, Kehs demonstrated her skill and determination on the mat. Joining her in the success was Jordynn Craig, Jasmine Moser, Avrie Dzielak, and Layne Smith, who all delivered strong performances in their respective events.
Additionally, Silvia’s Gymnastics Xcel and levels 3-5 teams also competed at the Handsprings for Hope event, with notable performances from Brynn McManus, Adalyn Lawrence, Zoe Dougherty, Aubree Nogue, and many others. The Level 5 team even secured a second-place finish, showcasing the depth and talent within the program.
Overall, Silvia’s Gymnastics athletes left a lasting impression at both competitions, with Isobel Kehs’ stellar performance at the PA Gymnastics Championships solidifying her as a rising star in the gymnastics world. With dedication, hard work, and passion driving these athletes, the future looks bright for Silvia’s Gymnastics.
