Watkins, a former elite cyclist racer, has a proven track record of hosting successful races, including the Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series and the Canadian National Masters Cycling Championships. His latest venture, the Mosaic Gravel Series, will feature a variety of races, with the first stop being the River City Fondo in Campbell River on April 21.
The event in Campbell River is set to showcase the beauty of the North Island, with riders traversing through lush green forests, past stunning lakes, and taking in breathtaking mountain views. The race will offer three different routes of varying lengths and intensity levels, catering to cyclists of all skill levels.
With over 200 people already registered for the event, the excitement is palpable. The Mosaic Gravel Series will also include stops in Duncan and Nanaimo, offering cyclists a chance to explore different parts of the island on their bikes.
