NRL Club Records: Who Holds the Most Appearances for Each Team?

Manly Sea Eagles captain Daly Cherry-Evans is set to make history in Round 5 of the NRL season as he surpasses the legendary Cliff Lyons’ record for the most appearances for the club. Cherry-Evans will run out for his 310th match against Penrith, solidifying his place in Manly’s history books.

But Cherry-Evans is not the only player making waves in the NRL when it comes to appearances for their respective clubs. From Darren Lockyer at the Brisbane Broncos to Cameron Smith at the Melbourne Storm, there are plenty of players who have etched their names in the record books.

One player to keep an eye on is Jason Taumalolo of the North Queensland Cowboys. Since his debut in 2010, Taumalolo has racked up over 250 appearances for the Cowboys and is on track to overtake the legendary Johnathan Thurston in 2025.

Isaah Yeo of the Penrith Panthers is also closing in on Steve Carter’s record for the most appearances for the club. With Yeo’s dedication and talent, he is expected to break the record early next year.

Meanwhile, Jack de Belin of the St George Illawarra Dragons and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves of the Sydney Roosters are also on track to make history for their clubs. De Belin has already made over 200 appearances for the Dragons since his debut in 2011, while Waerea-Hargreaves is nearing the 300-game mark for the Roosters.

As these players continue to make their mark on the NRL, fans can look forward to witnessing history being made as they break records and leave their legacy on the game.
