Exciting Details Unveiled for the 59th Presidential Tour of Türkiye

The 59th Presidential Tour of Türkiye is set to kick off on April 21-28, promising an action-packed week of thrilling cycling races and exciting activities for sports enthusiasts of all ages. Organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation with the support of the Youth and Sports Ministry, this year’s tour is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.

Following last week’s provincial coordination meetings, all details for the tour have been finalized, ensuring a seamless and exciting experience for participants and spectators alike. The event invites families, youth, and children to join in the excitement and celebrate the culture and love of cycling in Türkiye.

Spectators can look forward to a packed program during the stages of the tour, with thrilling race competitions at the start and finish areas, as well as various activities aimed at spreading the joy of cycling throughout the country. From the “Safe Cycling” course offered by the Gendarmerie General Command Traffic Department to the “TOUR 2024 Bicycle and Future Children’s Festival” in Fethiye-Marmaris, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights of this year’s tour will be the performance by last year’s Artistic Cycling World Champion, Viola Brand, adding a touch of excitement and color to the event. Additionally, the tour will start from Beşiktaş Square in Istanbul for the first time in its history, culminating in a grand finish at Sultanahmet Square on April 28.

With updates to the stages made during the provincial coordination meetings, the total distance of the tour is now 1,188 kilometers, with the grand event set to start at Antalya Düden Park and finish at Atatürk Park. The Izmir-Izmir stage has been revised to Cesme-Izmir, with Cesme Castle hosting the event.
