2024 Tour Championship: Schedule, TV Coverage, and Prize Money

The 2024 Tour Championship kicked off in Manchester on Monday, April 1, with the world’s top 12 snooker players ready to battle it out for the prestigious title. This unique event, which moves to a different UK city each year, has seen previous winners like Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump compete in thrilling matches.

Unlike other tournaments on the World Snooker Tour, the Tour Championship does not automatically seed the defending champion or winners of other events. This year, Shaun Wilson and Kyren Wilson did not qualify, making room for new challengers to step up and showcase their skills on the green baize.

Fans in the UK can catch all the action on ITV1 and ITV4, with matches also available for streaming on ITVX and Eurosport. For viewers outside the UK, the World Snooker Tour’s streaming service, WST.TV, is the place to watch the tournament live or on catch-up.

The tournament schedule is spread out over seven days, with the final set to take place on Sunday, April 7. The players will be competing for a total prize fund of £500,000, with the winner walking away with £150,000 and the title of Tour Championship champion.

With the world’s best snooker players going head-to-head in Manchester, fans can expect a week of intense competition and thrilling matches as the 2024 Tour Championship unfolds. Stay tuned to see who will emerge victorious and claim the top prize in this prestigious event.
