NFL Ticket Network Expands Partnership to Include Sports Illustrated Tickets
The NFL has announced a major expansion of its ticketing system, NFL Ticket Network, with the addition of a new partner, Sports Illustrated Tickets. This partnership will provide fans with another officially licensed option to purchase gameday tickets, joining existing partners Ticketmaster and SeatGeek.
Sports Illustrated Tickets, the online ticket marketplace venture of Sports Illustrated, offers tickets for a variety of sports including American football, ice hockey, baseball, college basketball, soccer, and golf. With this new addition, NFL fans will have even more options to secure official NFL tickets through the NFL Ticket Network.
Bobby Gallo, the NFL’s senior vice president of club business development, expressed excitement about the expanded ecosystem of the NFL Ticket Network, which aims to provide value for fans and partners alike. David Lane, chief executive of Sports Illustrated Tickets, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the fan experience by offering transparent pricing and collaborating with NFL teams to provide a new ticket purchasing option.
The NFL first partnered with Ticketmaster in 2008 to create a platform for fans to resell tickets. This partnership has been renewed multiple times, most recently in 2022, extending through the 2025-26 season. The open ticketing system allows fans to find verified NFL tickets across multiple marketplaces, with NFL franchises also having the option to utilize Ticketmaster services through the partnership.
Overall, the expansion of the NFL Ticket Network with the addition of Sports Illustrated Tickets provides NFL fans with more choices and convenience when purchasing gameday tickets, further enhancing the fan experience and accessibility to NFL games.
