Carlos Sainz Addresses Speculations About Future in Formula 1 Amid Audi Rumors

Carlos Sainz has finally addressed the swirling rumors surrounding his future in Formula 1, particularly in relation to the speculated offer from the incoming Audi team. The Spanish driver, who is set to be replaced by Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari for the 2025 season, has been at the center of much speculation about where he will land next.

Audi, which is set to acquire Sauber in 2026, has been linked to Sainz multiple times, thanks in part to his father’s successful history with the brand. However, recent reports suggested that Sainz had turned down an offer to drive for Audi alongside Nico Hulkenberg.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, Sainz set the record straight, stating, “No, that’s not correct. There’s no truth about it. Nothing to add.” Despite his father’s positive history with Audi, Sainz remains uncertain about his next career move.

While acknowledging Audi’s successful track record in motorsports, Sainz emphasized that there are many factors to consider in his decision-making process. He expressed his hope that Audi would be able to compete for wins in the future, but stopped short of confirming whether he would be a part of that journey.

With his future still up in the air, fans will have to wait and see where Carlos Sainz ultimately lands for the 2025 season. In the meantime, the speculation and anticipation surrounding his next move will undoubtedly continue to grow as the Formula 1 season progresses.
