Exciting England Women’s IT20 and ODI Series Against Pakistan Live on Sky Sports Cricket
The England Women’s cricket team is gearing up to face Pakistan in an exciting IT20 and ODI series, set to kick off on Saturday, May 11. Fans can catch all the action live on Sky Sports Cricket, starting from 2pm.
The white-ball squads were named on Friday, with the return of batter Freya Kemp adding firepower to the team. Left-arm spinner Linsey Smith has also been selected after impressing in the recent IT20 series in New Zealand.
The series will begin with a three-match IT20 series at Edgbaston, where England previously played in front of nearly 20,000 fans during a Women’s Ashes IT20 in July 2023. The team will then travel to The County Ground, Northampton, before finishing off at Headingley, with all matches broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Following the IT20 series, England will take on Pakistan in a three-match ODI series at Derby, Taunton, and Chelmsford, also live on Sky Sports.
Head coach Jon Lewis expressed his excitement for the upcoming series, stating, “It’s great to be kicking off the summer of sport on home soil. I know the group are looking forward to playing in front of our fans in grounds across the country throughout the series.”
The series against Pakistan will provide England with an opportunity to build and develop their squad ahead of the World Cup in Bangladesh in September. With a mix of experienced players and rising talents, the team is focused on securing their spot in the World Cup squad.
