UCLA Adds Transfer Power Forward William Kyle III to Roster

After a disappointing season for the UCLA Bruins, head coach Mick Cronin is making moves to ensure a better outcome next year. With a focus on adding experienced talent through the transfer portal, UCLA has officially announced the signing of their fifth transfer player, William Kyle III from South Dakota State.

Standing at 6-foot-9, Kyle is a force to be reckoned with on the court. As an All-Summit League honoree and the Defensive Player of the Year in his conference, he brings a strong defensive presence and scoring ability to the Bruins. Averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game last season, Kyle is expected to make an immediate impact in his junior year at UCLA.

Joining Kyle are four other confirmed transfers, including Tyler Bilodeau, Skyy Clark, Eric Dailey Jr., and Kobe Johnson, as well as incoming freshman Eric Freeny. The addition of Dominick Harris from Loyola Marymount is also in the works, pending official confirmation.

Coach Cronin is excited about the potential Kyle brings to the team, praising his athleticism, talent, and character. With a background in track and field before transitioning to basketball, Kyle’s journey to UCLA is a testament to his hard work and dedication.

“We are thrilled that Will has chosen to be a Bruin, and we cannot wait to get him on campus in Westwood,” Cronin said.

With a revamped roster and a focus on experience, UCLA is gearing up for a successful season ahead. Fans can expect an exciting lineup and a team hungry for redemption on the court.
