Total Fitness Hull Open Day: Fitness Challenges for MND Awareness and Support
The team at Total Fitness Hull is gearing up for an exciting open day filled with fitness challenges to support one of their own. Craig Eskrett, a beloved member of the club and a father of two, was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a devastating illness with no cure. In an effort to raise awareness and funds for Craig and his family, the club is inviting the community to join in on Wednesday, April 10.
Members and local residents are encouraged to participate in the free event, which will feature appearances from players of Hull FC and Hull City. The day will include a variety of fitness challenges, such as running, swimming, rowing, and skiing marathons, with the goal of creating the highest combined distance. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the club’s upgraded facilities and equipment while showing their support for a worthy cause.
Craig, a rugby coach for Skirlaugh U7s, expressed his gratitude for the support he has received from Total Fitness and the community. He is determined to raise awareness of MND and fund research for a cure. General manager Danny Hodder emphasized the importance of coming together as a community to support Craig and others affected by MND.
For those unable to attend the open day, donations can be made through Total Fitness Hull’s GoFundMe page. The event promises to be a fun and meaningful way to show support for Craig and raise awareness for MND. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference and join in on the fitness challenges at Total Fitness Hull.
