Brad Kimble Named Associate Athletics Director for Sports Medicine at Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech has made a significant addition to its athletic department with the hiring of Brad Kimble as the new associate athletics director for sports medicine. Kimble, who comes to the Yellow Jackets from Boise State, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.
In his previous position at Boise State, Kimble served as the assistant athletics director for sports, performance, health, and wellness. During his time there, he played a key role in helping the Broncos achieve success on the field, including a Mountain West Conference championship and a win in the Frisco Bowl.
Prior to his time at Boise State, Kimble spent five years as the head football athletic trainer at Rice University. He also has experience working at Syracuse and Baldwin Wallace, as well as internships with professional sports teams such as the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.
Kimble’s impressive resume includes multiple invited presentations and publications in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the College Athletic Trainers Society, and is certified in various athletic training specializations.
With his background and expertise, Kimble is well-equipped to oversee the day-to-day operations of Georgia Tech sports medicine and lead the athletic training efforts for the Yellow Jackets’ football program. His experience and dedication to the field make him a valuable addition to the Georgia Tech athletic department.
