Joey Miller Leads Swan Valley to Baseball Doubleheader Sweep of Heritage
Swan Valley’s Joey Miller had a standout performance on Saturday, leading his team to a baseball doubleheader sweep of Heritage. In the first game, Miller threw a complete-game three-hitter, shutting out Heritage 5-0. He walked one batter and struck out an impressive 12 hitters. Miller also contributed at the plate with two hits and a walk.
Jaxon Hartley added two doubles for the Vikings, while Chas Malacos had a double, walk, sacrifice fly, and run. Drew Schafer hit a triple to lead Heritage’s offense.
In the second game, Swan Valley secured an 11-5 victory with Malacos adding two hits and two RBIs. Colton Klein and Brady Stephens also had two hits each, with Klein driving in two runs. Brady Boelter led Heritage with two hits in the second game, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Swan Valley’s dominant performance.
