Max Verstappen continued his dominant form in the 2024 Formula One World Drivers’ Championship with a commanding victory at the Chinese Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver secured his fourth win out of five races, extending his lead at the top of the standings.
Verstappen’s victory at the Shanghai International Circuit saw him finish over 13 seconds ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris, who claimed second place. Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull, rounded out the podium in third.
With this win, Verstappen has now surpassed the 100-point mark in the championship, holding a 25-point lead over Perez. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished in fourth and fifth place respectively, with George Russell coming in sixth.
