West Virginia University Hosts Annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game presented by Encova Insurance

West Virginia University is gearing up for its annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game presented by Encova Insurance, set to take place on Saturday, April 27, at Noon, at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium. The game will mark the conclusion of WVU’s spring football drills and will feature a four-quarter Gold vs. Blue contest, along with specialty drills and competitions.

Fans are in for a treat as the Almost Heaven Village Kickoff Concert will kick off the festivities with a performance by Morgantown native, Huey Mack. The concert is free to the public and will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the East Side of Milan Puskar Stadium. Fans are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages to the concert, but there will also be food trucks onsite.

In addition to the concert, the Almost Heaven Village fan experience area will offer fans the opportunity to pick up an exclusive schedule poster, enjoy food trucks, inflatables, a DJ, yard games, photo opportunities, balloon artistry, face painting, and appearances from the WVU Spirit Squads.

For those attending the game, WVU’s Clear Bag Policy will be in effect, and fans are encouraged to visit WVUsports.com/clearbag for more information. Concession stands inside the stadium will open at 11 a.m. and will utilize cashless purchases. Parking for cars is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with various parking lots available for public parking.

The Gold-Blue Spring Football Game will be televised on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+ platform, with additional television coverage starting with a special Mountaineer GameDay Gold-Blue pregame show. Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to take photos and participate in other activities on Mountaineer Field.
