England’s Red Roses are gearing up for a fierce battle as they aim to secure their sixth consecutive Guinness Women’s Six Nations title this Saturday. Standing in their way are unbeaten rivals France, who are just one point behind in the standings and hungry for victory.

The stage is set at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux, where a crowd of over 30,000 is expected to witness what promises to be a thrilling showdown. England have been in scintillating form, notching up four bonus-point wins and scoring a whopping 228 points while conceding just 20 in their previous matches against Italy, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

Head coach John Mitchell is well aware of the challenge that lies ahead, describing the upcoming clash as an “arm-wrestle” that his team has been anticipating. He believes that facing tough opposition like France will provide valuable feedback and help the team grow stronger.

Meanwhile, Scotland will be looking to secure a third-place finish by defeating Ireland in Belfast, while Wales are hoping to avoid finishing at the bottom of the table. The Welsh team needs a bonus-point victory against Italy at the Principality Stadium to have any chance of climbing out of the wooden spoon position.

Wales captain Hannah Jones emphasized the importance of the fans’ support during these challenging times, expressing her team’s determination to bounce back from recent losses and put on a strong performance against Italy. With a five-figure attendance expected at the Cardiff venue, the stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the Women’s Six Nations tournament.
