Pat Cummins Encourages Sunrisers Hyderabad Despite Loss to RCB
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins remains optimistic despite their recent loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL. Cummins acknowledged that it was not an ideal night for the team, with a few lapses in their bowling and batting performance. However, he emphasized that their attacking style of cricket is their strong suit and believes it is the way forward for the team.
One of the key factors in SRH’s success this season has been their ability to bat first and post record-breaking totals. Despite losing the toss and being put to bowl by RCB, Cummins expressed confidence in his team’s ability to bounce back. He urged his players not to dwell on the defeat and to focus on the upcoming matches.
In the match against RCB, SRH struggled to chase down the target of 206 runs set by the opposition. Despite some promising starts from players like Abhishek Sharma and Aiden Markram, the team fell short of the required total. RCB’s Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli played crucial roles in setting up the challenging target for SRH.
With this loss, Hyderabad remains in third place on the points table, tied with Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. On the other hand, Bengaluru sits at the bottom of the table with four points.
SRH will look to regroup and come back stronger in their next match against Chennai Super Kings on April 28. Cummins and his team will be aiming to get back to winning ways and continue their impressive run in the tournament.
