England make two injury-enforced changes for Women’s Six Nations Grand Slam decider against France

In a highly anticipated clash, England’s Red Roses are gearing up to face off against France in the Women’s Six Nations Grand Slam decider this Saturday at Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux. The match is set to kick off at 16:45 BST and will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and online.

England, who are aiming to secure their third consecutive Grand Slam and sixth successive Women’s Six Nations title, have made two injury-enforced changes to their starting lineup. Hooker Amy Cokayne returns from suspension to replace Lark Atkin-Davies, while Morwenna Talling retains her spot after lock Rosie Galligan’s late withdrawal due to injury.

Cokayne, who missed England’s win over Ireland after being sent off in the victory over Scotland, will be looking to make a strong impact in the crucial match against France. The Red Roses’ backline remains unchanged, with the lethal trio of Ellie Kildunne, Abby Dow, and Jess Breach aiming to replicate their impressive performance against Ireland.

France, on the other hand, have made four changes to their starting XV, including the return of former captain Gaelle Hermet and lock Madoussou Fall. With a large crowd expected at Stade Chaban-Delmas, both teams are gearing up for a thrilling encounter.

England head coach John Mitchell expressed his team’s excitement for the challenge, stating, “France will be buoyed by the fact they’re at home but we’re actually looking forward to embracing that challenge.” The Red Roses are undefeated in 28 games in the competition, setting a record for consecutive wins, but France will be looking to end their unbeaten streak.

With both teams in top form, the stage is set for an exhilarating showdown as England and France battle it out for Women’s Six Nations supremacy.
