The Cypress baseball team had a thrilling victory over Pacifica to win the Empire League title outright on Thursday, April 25. However, Connor Artasere came in to pitch and managed to secure three consecutive outs to seal the 5-3 victory for Cypress. This win was crucial for the Centurions, as it marked their 12th consecutive league title after a tough start to the season with a loss against Tustin.
