Grace Tullock Balances Division I Ice Hockey and Lacrosse at Penn State
Grace Tullock, a standout athlete from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, is gearing up for an exciting challenge as she prepares to play both ice hockey and lacrosse at the Division I level for Penn State. Tullock, who has been involved in organized hockey since she was six years old, is no stranger to balancing multiple sports.
Tullock expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to compete in both sports at the collegiate level. She acknowledged the difficulty of balancing the two sports, especially with the overlap between her first hockey season and the start of lacrosse. Despite missing fall ball for lacrosse due to hockey commitments, Tullock is determined to work hard and be ready to contribute to both teams.
Penn State has seen success in recent years, winning the last two College Hockey America tournament titles and finishing with a strong record this past season. Tullock is eager to make her mark on both teams, with her defensive skills taking priority on the ice hockey team, while her goal-scoring abilities will be put to the test on the lacrosse field.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Tullock has also excelled academically, as she has yet to declare a major. Her dedication to both sports and her studies is a testament to her work ethic and determination.
As Tullock prepares to embark on this new chapter in her athletic career, she is focused on earning her spot on both teams and making the most of the opportunities that lie ahead. With her talent, drive, and passion for both sports, Tullock is poised to make a significant impact at Penn State and continue her athletic success at the collegiate level.
